New Patients

We provide many services in our practice to suit your dental requirements. We consider ours to be a family orientated dental practice, welcoming mums, dads, children and all family members. Our emphasis and policy is to preserve your natural teeth by prevention of tooth decay and gum disease.

We take great pride in offering the highest standard of dentistry and want to make your visits as pleasant as possible.

New Patients Most Welcome

New patients are always welcome to join the practice. Every effort will be made to give you an appointment within two weeks of registration. Currently our NHS books are closed.

Children, of whatever age, are always welcome in the practice. We like to encourage parents to bring their children from an early age so that they can acquire habits that will preserve their teeth for life.

Dental Emergencies

We can only see registered patients, emergency appointments will be given within 24 hours notice.

Our range of services

You have the choice between NHS and Private dental care. Please remember that on the NHS your treatment is free of charge if you fall into a number of categories. Those on low income or recipients of other benefits (pregnancy, income support etc.) will be entitled to free NHS dental treatment.

A full range of NHS and Private treatments are covered, these include:

  • Preventive and periodontal treatments
  • Oral Health Education
  • Dental Hygienist
  • Prosthetics (Dentures)
  • Cosmetic Dentistry
  • Porcelain Crowns, inlays, veneers & bridgework
  • Fissure sealant for children

Are you exempt from NHS dental treatment?

You will need to provide proof of exemption on every visit as Government checks are made on a regular basis.

If you claim any of the following you may be exempt from NHS charges

  • Under 18 years of age
  • Aged 18 and in full time education
  • Pregnant
  • Had a baby in the last 12 months
  • Currently in prison or a young offender’s institution
  • Income Support
  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
  • HC2 Certificate
  • NHS Tax Credit Exemption Certificate (Working Families Tax Credit)
  • Income Related Employment and Support Allowance

 If you are on low income please ask for an HC1 at reception.
